There will likely be more than 5 in and around the village and they respawn throughout the game, but if you can't find 5 of them or you have already killed them, then don't worry, they will respawn. The challenge will start once you throw the first chicken into the pen. Now all you have to do is find 5 chickens which will be running around the village and throw them into the pen.
